My parents came back from Spring Training and stayed in St. Pete Beach. They brought me back these postcards. I just never got around to posting them until now.

My mom got me this pillbox when I was in middle school. It is actually the first one in my collection. At the time I wanted to be an actress so it was perfect. What little girl and inspiring actress doesn’t want a miniature Oscar. The pillbox doesn’t contain any little trinket inside, which is a shame. I would have loved a mini Oscar or clapboard inside. Out of my large collection of both travel and other random pillboxes this one is still my favorite.
I got this box in Seattle this past June and I honestly can’t remember which store I purchased it in. We were all over. I’m leaning towards the Space Needle. It was $7.75. The quality isn’t that good compared to the other ones I own. There was no trinket inside :-(. The box is of the Seattle skyline which is very picturesque.
This box is of the Portland skyline. I bought this past June for $7.95. I bought it at the gift shop for the historical society. The guy was super sweet and made sure I had a new one in a box. The trinket inside the box is of a rose. That’s because Portland is known as Rose City. The box reminds me of the Boston skyline one I own.
I got this box near Quincy Market in March of 2007. It was around St. Patrick’s Day. There was a little shop on the corner that I picked it up from. I was on Spring Break with my school at the time. I don’t remember how much it was but it was probably $8 or $9. The box is of the Boston skyline. The trinket inside is of a lobster, which is super cute! This box is very similar to other ones I have in my collection. You will see them soon.
I bought this box on my most recent trip to Boston. I believe it was $8 or $9. I bought it at the Old North Church gift shop. I own another pillbox from Boston that I bought in Feb. 2007, which I’ll post soon. This box is obviously of the church and has two images of Paul Revere on it. Old North Church is where he had the lanterns hung to let everyone that the British were coming. The trinket inside is of a lantern.
I’ve been wanting to check out Broadway Bites for a while. I had a long list of foods I wanted to try. I wanted a deep fried rice ball ($5), Dutch pancakes (15 for $5), stuffed bagel bite ($1.5 each), pretzel ($4), a grilled cheese ($7), cannolis (6 for $10), and mini doughnuts. I got a pesto and cheese rice ball, an everything bagel ball stuffed with veggie cream cheese, a truffle cheddar pretzel, Dutch pancakes, an egg nog cannoli, an original cannoli, a pumpkin cannoli, two cookie dough cannolis, and my mom got a pistachio one. Everything was beyond yummy!
